Editorial standards
Last updated: October 16, 2026
These are the rules we follow for our study guides and for the free exam pages on this site. They describe how we work today; when the way we work changes, this page changes and its date moves.
Practice questions come from our own guides
Every practice question on our free exam pages comes from the practice tests of one of our published study guides, and each one says which practice test and question number it comes from. They are original questions, not official exam items, and we do not copy questions from exam bodies or other publishers. Every answer comes with an explanation of why it is correct.
Exam facts come from the exam body
Every number we publish about an exam (number of questions, time, passing score, fees, retake rules, content areas) comes from the exam body's own pages: the certifying board, the state testing program or the official candidate handbook. Next to each fact we link the source and say on which date we checked it. When an exam body does not publish a number, we say so and explain how passing is decided, instead of repeating figures from forums or other publishers. A fact we could not read on the official source is marked "Not verified yet" and its number is not shown.
When an exam page is ready for search engines
A free exam page is listed in our sitemap and open to search engines only when all of these are true: its questions come from our guide for that exam, its exam facts are checked on the official source with a date, the guide is on sale on this site, and the page passes our editorial checks. Those checks look for a publication date and a review date, a link to the official source, a table of facts where the page is about facts, a full-sentence answer under each question heading, no filler phrases, and a title and description of a readable length. A page that fails stays out of the index until it is fixed.
Dates on every page
Each exam page shows the day it was published and the day its facts and text were last checked. Articles that state exam facts end with an "Official sources" section.
How we use AI
Our guides are drafted with AI assistance, starting from the official exam outlines. Each draft is checked by automated fact checks against the official sources and reviewed by our quality reviewer before release. Inside the product, the AI study tutor answers questions using the guide's own chapters. How the review works is described in How we review.
Independence
PrepMaster Digital is independent. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by any exam body, and exam names and trademarks belong to their owners. No exam body pays us or reviews our content.
Mistakes
If you find a mistake, or an exam body changes its rules, tell us: the steps are on our corrections page, or write to info@prepmasterdigital.com.
